Two weeks of subshine were just what the doctor ordered after the " miserable" spring this year. Very confortable and weel equipped house and pool and very welcoming and knoxedgeable hosts in Mr and Mrs Girod.

We have spent 2 very enjoyable weeks at Villa Faridoux. A couple of minor problems in the first few days were quickly sorted by Mr Girod. The villa is very confortable and weel equipped, all we could wish for. A great place for touring the area: Bonnieux, Lacoste, Avignon, Arles and the Camargue. The 2 restaurants we visited Terrasses du Chateau et Pebre d'Aï were excellent. Market at Lourmarin on fraidays is a must.

A wonderful experience in Provence using the villa Faridoux as our starting point each day to explore all the small and larger villages of southern France.
We can truly say that in the past three weeks we have discovered the lifestyle, the personnality of the provençal people and of course the multilayers of history and architecture.
We so enjoyed the food and wines of the region as well.

We had a wonderful time at the Villa Faridoux, we enjoyed the market at Cucuron, wandering around Lourmarin and also venturing to Avignon. Most of all we loved the pool, the sunshine and wonderful French food. Thank you André for your warm welcome and for inviting us to see your beautiful caves, the mosaics were out of this world.
